Vintage Canvas Art

These are the paintings I was talking about. ( sorry the photos aren't great!)

This is one of the first ones I made for Matilda's nursery, just before she was born. She loves looking at them while getting changed! (I've given an old look to some of them, like this one although you can't really appreciate on the photo)

I've also made these ones for my niece Manuela who is due on 25th December!! I can't wait!!

Wall Decor Coming soon

I've been working on some little paintings for a nursery (or anywhere really), they are cute with a touch of vintage.
I'll try to post them in the next couple of days, I just need some day light to take the pics!!

Lace bracelet

I was after a bracelet in pink and cream tones but couldn't find the right one so I made this one... (got the idea from something similar I saw in a shop)

Nursery wardrobe and chest of drawers

This time I used a very nice 50s wardrobe (which was ideal for the nursery as the size is smaller than regular ones), I really liked the way it was originally but it didn't match with the nursery!

Then I got some shelves fitted to make it more practical a nice knob and a handmade felt doll and voila!

AFTER

With the chest of drawers was pretty much the same, I used the same colors but in a slightly different way and added some handmade pendants to the handles. Cute ;0

Chest of drawers used as changing unit by placing a changing mat on top!

Nursery rocking chair

This is a rocking chair that I did for Matilda's nursery, I wanted an old style one but with a modern look so with a bit of paint and some decoupage this is what it looks like.






It was a lot of work but it was worth it! It looks great with a couple of cushions and is very comfy!

Hello!!
My name is Rocio and I've created this blog to share and sell my little creations. I'm mad about Donald Duck and antique furniture, bottles and tins/boxes. I'm an enthusiast of crafting, painting, sewing, jewellry making  and pretty much anything I can create with my hands! I did a degree of Fine Arts when I was younger.
The last big project I've been into was my baby's nursery, named Matilda she's nearly 7 months old and she means the world to me!! I did the whole room using old furniture which I then refurbished , I also did all the wall decorations (little paintings, name letters, curtains, etc). I'm planning on posting some pictures and descriptions of the things I've made so far.
